Matt Bodnar is an associate attorney focusing on several practice areas including bankruptcy, landlord-tenant, and civil litigation. Matt is a member of the Akron Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association. Prior to joining Roderick Linton Roderick Belfance, LLP, Matt worked as a Law Clerk for the West Virginia Attorney General’s Office.
Matt graduated from the University of Akron School of Law in 2024 while earning a certificate in business law. Also in law school, he participated in the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition in Boston, Massachusetts, receiving an award for sixth best advocate.
Prior to law school, Matt attended Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, and got his bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in U.S. History.
Outside of the office Matt enjoys staying active by playing soccer and training Muay Thai. He also enjoys watching documentaries, hanging out with friends, and visiting family back in West Virginia.
