Anne Marie Christ joined the firm in 2006 and practices in the areas of business transactions, securities law, corporate governance, capital restructuring, corporate law, limited partnership law, limited liability companies, mergers and acquisitions, business financing and oil and gas law.
Ms. Christ earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego and a Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law. She works closely with many business clients in structuring and raising capital, the application of federal and state securities laws and compliance with various self-regulatory organizations, such as the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Ms. Christ is a member of the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association and the Akron Bar Association. She is actively involved in the American Bar Association's Business Law Section and Young Lawyers Division. Ms. Christ is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association's committees on Corporate Law and Natural Resource Law.
Ms. Christ is a member of the Ohio Oil and Gas Association. She is also a member in the Scanlon Inn of Court. In addition, she participates in a local Akron charity's mentoring and career networking program.
