Brian T. Angeloni
Brian Angeloni is a member of the Bankruptcy & Creditor Rights Practice Group at Roderick Linton Belfance. Brian focuses his practice on bankruptcy and commercial law, representing clients in Chapter 7, Chapter 13 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, and representing clients and various trustees in prosecuting and defending bankruptcy adversary proceedings. While primarily focused on bankruptcy law, Brian also serves clients in the areas of litigation, general business matters and collections.
Brian is licensed in the State of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the United States Bankruptcy Court and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. In 2011, Brian was appointed by the Akron Bar Association to serve on the Attorney Constituent Group for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Ohio. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Oil & Gas Association and an active member of the Akron Bar Association where he is currently a member of the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section. Recognized by his peers through SuperLawyers as an “Ohio Rising Star” in the field of debtor-creditor rights, Brian has spoken at bankruptcy continuing legal education seminars and has sat on the planning committee for the White-Williams Bankruptcy Institute.
Brian earned his J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law where he participated as an assistant and associate editor on the Akron Law Review. He received his B.A. summa cum laude from Mount Union College.
